Las Vegas Home Buyer Tax Credit Swamps Title Companies

Las Vegas homes are selling and in vast quantities!

The home-buyer tax credit extension has done little to ease the burden off the shoulders of Las Vegas title and escrow officers.

You heard the buzz of the extension first from our very own TomLasVegas, the news man!

Now that we all have an additional 90 days to close the current escrows in compliance with the previous tax credit guidelines, you would think

things would lighten up! If your in the title business you know it hasn’t.

One woman in a local Las Vegas title company told us she thinks a lot of agents, buyers and sellers had “given up” on their deals being elligable.

Now that the extension is here, many deals have found a new fire to get their deals closed on time!

Las Vegas housing is hardly sagging! ( unlike some parts of our fine nation) But it’s not just housing that benefits from these home buyer tax credits.

Spending is up, both personal and business, all over the country. This means money is flowing! When money flows freely all areas of our economy feel the release of the

recession noose many have come to tolerate. I know it may be un-popular with supporters of small government, but I know all the buyers will love me when I say,

we could use a full extension of the home buyer tax credit! I know the title officers will get some overtime… Hey more money flowing!

It’s beautifully perpetual.
