A California appeals court ruled that U.S. Bank reneged on an alleged earlier promise to negotiate a mortgage modification. This is providing sufficient cause for the homeowner to sue the bank for fraud in a scathing ruling that contended the bank never had any intention of working with the homeowner. I can just see the Court Rooms in a couple of months, as angry homeowners line the halls with similar complaints. This may proof to be very, very interesting.
